Stickleyville is a small unincorporated community located in Scott County, in southwestern Virginia, United States. It is situated in the Appalachian Mountains and is named after the prominent Stickley family. The community is located along State Route 65 and is near both the Virginia-Kentucky state line and the Tennessee state line. Stickleyville has a post office, a few small businesses, and a fire station. The nearest town is Gate City, which is approximately 9 miles away. Stickleyville is known for its natural beauty, with numerous hiking trails and scenic areas nearby, including the Daniel Boone National Forest and Natural Tunnel State Park.
